Compliance and Risk Management

As a member of the LPL Compliance and Risk Management team, you can contribute to the success, stability, and future of our organization. Positions range from compliance specialists and technical writers to analysts and branch examiners. Responsibilities may include identifying, analyzing, and controlling risks that affect every aspect of our business. Team members are also charged with ensuring compliance with all internal and external standards and regulations.

Finance

If you’re a finance professional who would enjoy the challenge of a career with a visionary industry leader, LPL may have a job that’s right for you. LPL Finance handles LPL’s overall financial strategy development. Located primarily on our San Diego and Carolinas campuses, our team handles a broad range of responsibilities in areas such as accounting, investor relations, procurement, corporate development, external and regulatory reporting, and more.

Human Resources

Are you interested in a career that offers a fast-paced, changing environment and the opportunity to make a positive impact organization-wide? Consider a position with LPL Human Resources. You’ll find opportunities in talent acquisition, talent development, benefits, corporate communication, real estate and workplace design strategies, and more. Most positions are located on our San Diego, CA and Carolinas campuses.

Information Technology

If you join the LPL Technology team, you can use your talents to make the lives of our advisors, institutional partners, and employees easier. We seek motivated individuals with diverse skill sets to help us push the limits for what LPL’s technology can do for our advisors and company. Positions include cybersecurity analysts, network engineers, developers, project managers, and technical support representatives, among others.

Legal

You’ll find an uncommon in-house practice at LPL: legal work that is sophisticated and highly meaningful to the firm in an environment that encourages individual initiative and professional growth. In addition to practicing attorneys, we seek paralegals with relevant experience and administrative assistants who can support the department. Candidates should be articulate, professional, and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Research

Work with the LPL Research team and help us provide objective advice and guidance to our advisors on a variety of topics. The team also develops publications, trade-related information, and podcasts to help keep our advisors at the forefront of their profession. We seek individuals who are self-motivated independent thinkers. Positions include service team members, quantitative analysts, due diligence analysts, marketing and communications professionals, and market, portfolio and investment strategists.

Sales and Marketing

As a member of the LPL Sales and Marketing team, you’ll play a key role in managing, retaining, and recruiting independent advisors and financial institutions — and in ensuring their satisfaction. Based in Boston, San Diego, and on our Carolinas campus, the team ensures our advisor network receives the programs, technologies, services, and support needed to run successful practices. We seek qualified individuals with expertise in areas such as advisory and brokerage consulting, business development, insurance, and marketing.

Service and Operations

A career with LPL Service and Operations requires a genuine interest in working with people. Candidates should have a strong customer-service focus, excellent communication skills, and superior problem-solving abilities. We seek individuals who are also outgoing, team-oriented, patient, methodical, and inquisitive. Opportunities are available with Technical Support Help Desk, Service Center, and Transition Services, which helps new advisors transition smoothly to LPL.
